The "godfather" of the city, Leonid Boytsov, returns home from another "business trip." The extended family welcomes him with a party, but there are also issues that need to be addressed immediately. In a large dark office, Leonid meets with people and listens to their problems.

A local restaurateur also comes to him to deal with his partner, chef Giacomo. The Italian took the money, but is in no hurry to open the restaurant. Therefore, the restaurateur wants to return the investment and exit the business. Leonid promises to resolve the issue. But having become friends with Giacomo, he "buys out" the restaurateur's share and pompously opens Vesuvius, unaware that he has fallen into a trap that will change his life and test the strength of his family.…
